Seoul, en.SERU.co.id — It didn’t take long for the rumors to start. After Daesung and Hur Youngji were spotted together at MAMAMOO’s concert, fans quickly began wondering if something was going on between them. But Daesung’s agency has already stepped in to clear the air.
According to his label, R&D Company, the two are simply close colleagues who got to know each other better after Youngji appeared on Daesung’s YouTube show, ZIP DAESUNG. They went to watch MAMAMOO’s “4WARD” world tour together at Olympic Hall on June 21, nothing more.
“They became closer after ‘ZIP DAESUNG,’ and they went to watch MAMAMOO’s concert together. They are just close peers, and the dating rumors are not true,” a representative told media outlets.
Similar statements were also reported by SBS Star and several other Korean media outlets, which confirmed that the two developed a friendship through Daesung’s YouTube content.
The buzz kicked off when photos and videos from the concert started circulating online. In some clips, Daesung and Youngji were seen sitting next to each other, chatting casually and looking at a phone together. It looked cozy enough to spark speculation. What many didn’t initially notice was that OH MY GIRL’s Hyojung was also sitting with them the whole time.
