Seoul, en.SERU.co.id – The long-running speculation about a romance between BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and BLACKPINK’s Jennie is making the rounds again in 2026. As usual, neither the artists nor their agencies have confirmed or denied anything.
Back in February 2021, Dispatch dropped a detailed report claiming the two had been dating for about a year. According to the outlet, they met secretly, often at G-Dragon’s penthouse in Hannam-dong. Staff at YG were reportedly aware, and Jennie’s manager was seen dropping her off there multiple times.
A source close to the pair told Dispatch at the time:
“Quite a lot of people at YG have noticed their relationship. Jennie’s mother is also aware of her relationship with G-Dragon. She’s thankful that he takes special care of her.”
YG Entertainment responded with their classic line:
“We cannot confirm anything about our artists’ private lives.” They asked for understanding and left it at that.
The rumors picked up steam again in mid-April 2026 during Coachella. A fan video showed the two at the festival, and an Instagram post from @lim_benzema with the caption “Jendragon at @coachella 😍🥰 #jendragonisreal” caught G-Dragon’s attention. His verified account (@xxxibgdrgn) liked the post, which quickly spread online and got fans talking.

Some reports also mentioned they might have stayed under the same roof, though that part remains unconfirmed. As of now, no statements have come from either side.
Then at the end of May, they both attended a Chanel Métiers d’Art event in Seoul as brand ambassadors. Photos and clips showed them smiling on the photo wall and sharing the same space. Jennie looked bright and happy, while G-Dragon flashed his usual cool smile. Fans immediately pointed out their easy chemistry, though others noted it was simply a professional event.
As of early June 2026, there’s still no official comment from G-Dragon, Jennie, YG Entertainment, or her current agency Odd Atelier. The pattern of “no comment” has stayed consistent for years.
For now, everything remains in the realm of fan speculation and shipper dreams. K-pop fans know how these stories tend to ebb and flow — we’ll just have to wait and see if anything official ever comes out.
