Los Angeles, en.SERU.co.id — Innersloth has revealed Among Us Story: On Guard, a brand new single-player game set in the Among Us universe on Friday (5/6/2026). The announcement came during Summer Game Fest 2026, offering a fresh take on the franchise that fans have been asking for.

Unlike the classic multiplayer social deduction experience, this one is a narrative-driven adventure. You play as Guard, a Crewmate responsible for ship security at the MIRA Research & Development facility. Everything seems normal until a murder throws the crew into chaos. Your job is to investigate, gather clues, complete tasks, and figure out who the Impostor is all while trying to prove your own innocence.

The game features multiple endings and a cast of memorable Crewmates, including a near-retirement Cook, a streaming Doctor, and a Captain who prefers “care-frontation” over confrontation. It keeps the charming, simple art style that made the original game so popular but adds more depth to the story and characters.

Release Details

Among Us Story: On Guard is heading to PC via Steam, as well as Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. A full release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Good news for anyone eager to try it: a free demo drops on June 15, 2026, right in time for Among Us’s birthday. Innersloth called it “our big present to you.”

In their official announcement, Innersloth said they’ve heard fans loud and clear:

“For ages, you’ve asked us for more. More stories about the Crewmates! More lore! More ways to play!”

The announcement also ties into other Among Us projects, including the upcoming animated series on Paramount+.

This feels like a smart move for Innersloth, giving players a chance to dive deeper into the universe without needing friends online. We’ll have to wait for the demo to see exactly how it plays, but early reactions seem positive.
