London, en.SERU.co.id — Global girl group KATSEYE has achieved its highest chart positions to date in the United Kingdom, with its third mini album WILD debuting at No. 2 on the Official Albums Chart.
The result surpasses the group’s previous album peak of No. 55, achieved by Beautiful Chaos in 2025.
According to the Official Charts Company, three tracks from WILD also entered the Official Singles Chart Top 100. Pre-release single Animal reached No. 12, marking the highest UK singles-chart position for a KATSEYE song so far. Title track Hootie Frutti debuted at No. 16, while Bel Air entered at No. 97.
KATSEYE Reaches New UK Chart Milestone
The latest results give KATSEYE five UK Top 40 singles in 2026, making the group the first girl group since Little Mix in 2021 to achieve that milestone in a single calendar year.
Released on August 14, WILD features contributions from HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, and producers Omer Fedi and Blake Slatkin. The mini album explores themes of self-acceptance and freedom.
The chart success comes ahead of KATSEYE’s upcoming THE WILDWORLD TOUR, which includes performances at The O2 in London and Co-op Live in Manchester in September.
