Seoul, en.SERU.co.id — It’s been a whirlwind day for ONCE. Multiple reports from Korean media suggest that several TWICE members may not renew their individual contracts with JYP Entertainment, even as the group looks set to continue as a full nine-member act.
The biggest headline today revolves around Tzuyu. According to a report from News1, the 27-year-old Taiwanese star has decided not to renew her exclusive contract with JYP after 11 years. However, sources say she plans to stay fully committed to TWICE’s group activities.
JYP quickly pushed back on the speculation. A company representative told reporters:
“TWICE is currently in the contract renewal discussion period. We will provide an update once everything is finalized.”
This isn’t the only story making waves. Jihyo is reportedly leaning toward establishing her own one-person agency for solo activities.
While Jeongyeon has been linked to Varo Entertainment since June. She reportedly met with the agency, which also manages her sister Gong Seung-yeon to explore acting opportunities.
And then there’s Chaeyoung. Fan accounts and social media have been buzzing with claims that she’s been meeting other agencies about her solo career while planning to remain part of TWICE.
