Jakarta, en.SERU.co.id – Netflix is once again refreshing its content library, with several Liam Neeson action thrillers leaving the streaming platform as licensing agreements expire throughout 2026.
According to tracking site What’s on Netflix, several Liam Neeson titles have either already left the platform or are scheduled to leave throughout 2026. The affected titles include:
- Cold Pursuit (2019) – Removed on June 1, 2026
- Non-Stop (2014) – Removed on January 1, 2026
- The Marksman (2021) – Removed in May–June 2026
- Honest Thief (2020) – Removed in May–June 2026
Among the removed titles, Cold Pursuit (2019) has attracted the most attention. Directed by Hans Petter Moland, the revenge thriller follows snowplow driver Nels Coxman, played by Liam Neeson, as he hunts down the drug cartel responsible for his son’s death. While it wasn’t a major box-office hit, the film later gained popularity through streaming platforms.
Earlier this year, Non-Stop (2014) also exited Netflix. Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the thriller follows an air marshal trying to stop a murder plot aboard a transatlantic flight and went on to earn more than $222 million worldwide against a production budget of around $50 million.
Other titles leaving Netflix include The Marksman (2021), in which Neeson plays a retired Marine protecting a young boy from a drug cartel, and Honest Thief (2020), where he portrays a bank robber trying to surrender before corrupt FBI agents frame him.

Why Are These Movies Being Removed?
Netflix rarely explains individual removals, but these departures are typically the result of licensing agreements expiring. As contracts end, movies leave the platform to make room for new additions.
That said, not all Neeson films are disappearing. Retribution, for example, was still climbing the global Netflix charts as recently as July 2026.
With Netflix constantly updating its catalog, even popular Liam Neeson action films can disappear without much notice. Fans who still want to revisit these thrillers may want to watch them before they’re gone.
