Los Angeles, en.SERU.co.id — Square Enix officially revealed Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the final entry in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy. It launches in Spring 2027 (March–May 2027) for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a simultaneous multiplatform release.

The reveal trailer and extended gameplay footage showed Cloud and the party taking to the skies with the Highwind airship, exploring a much larger, more open version of the planet. Players can parachute down seamlessly to different areas, with new locations like Wutai and Mideel making an appearance, along with the colossal Weapons monsters.

Vincent Valentine and Cid Highwind are now fully playable. Vincent brings fast gunplay and beast transformations, while Cid fights in a classic dragoon style with his lance. The combat also introduces the FITS system (Function Integrated Tactical Suitwear), which lets you swap outfits and roles. It similar to the job system from older Final Fantasy games, for different playstyles like Warrior or Black Mage. The story focuses on the theme of “resolve”.

Director Naoki Hamaguchi described it this way:

“In this title, centered around ‘resolve,’ Cloud and his companions will confront their respective convictions and continue their journey towards the final battle that will determine the planet’s fate. All the stories and emotions accumulated over the years will culminate in the most satisfying way.”
