London. en.SERU.co.id – Jessie Cave, the British actress best known for playing Lavender Brown in the final three Harry Potter films, has revealed that her earnings from OnlyFans in a single year have surpassed the total income from her entire acting career. The comments were made in an interview with The Times and subsequently reported by outlets including Metro, The Independent and LADbible in early August 2026.

Cave, 39, shares four children with her fiancé, comedian Alfie Brown, joined the platform in March 2025. She described reaching a difficult point after fewer acting opportunities and mounting financial pressure.

“I couldn’t go and, say, work in a supermarket because I can’t afford the childcare, and also, I don’t want people shouting Harry Potter spells at me as I work at Tesco. I could retrain but I can’t afford to do a degree. I had a breakdown and I thought, that’s it with acting, I give up. But also, we have no money. It was a point of complete desperation,” she told The Times.

She initially expected the account to provide a temporary buffer.

“I thought I’d make five grand, be on it for a few months and it would buy me time to work out what we’re going to do. But it’s now been over a year and a half and it’s genuinely saved our lives,” Cave said.

Hair Content Focus and Platform Earnings

Cave’s posts center on non-explicit hair-focused videos. She appears fully clothed while brushing, braiding or styling her long hair, sometimes in costumes including her Harry Potter character or an elf.

“My rule is the hair is the main character. That’s how I justify it. It’s literally about hair: the texture of hair. The fetish. It’s very, very niche,” she explained.

Subscribers pay around $6 a month, with extra revenue coming from paid messages. An early post attracted roughly 3,500 subscribers quickly. Cave reported earning £15,000 in one day and stated that within one year she had “earned more, easily, than my entire acting career.”

Cave has also spoken about the stigma surrounding OnlyFans because of its association with adult content. She previously said she was removed from a Harry Potter fan convention lineup for that reason.

In a Substack post she noted organizers cited the platform’s connection to adult content, adding that she found the decision puzzling given that many actors appearing at conventions have performed sex scenes or nudity in other projects.

Cave has continued to work in television and stage roles alongside the platform activity. She has appeared in series such as Black Mirror and Industry following her Harry Potter appearances in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and the two Deathly Hallows films.
