USA, en.SERU.co.id – Tom Holland opened up about Zendaya in a refreshing new way during a recent podcast appearance.
In the episode of Good Hang with Amy Poehler, released on Tuesday (2/6/2026), the 30-year-old actor speaks warmly about his fiancée’s talents and how she inspires him. She highlighted her performance as Rue in Euphoria, noting how different the character is from Zendaya’s real-life personality.
“What I love about watching her work as an actress is that she’s just fearless. She’s just like absolutely 10 toes down. Like, ‘I’m going to give this everything.’
I think when you watch her as Rue in Euphoria, she could not be more different from who she is in real life.
And then if you see her as Emma in The Drama, it’s just such a different performance but with no less intent, passion, or drive.
I think she’s the best actor going. I really think she has something special,” he said.
Holland also described Zendaya as a “lifeline” in the often chaotic world of Hollywood.
“It’s a lifeline. It really is. I couldn’t imagine doing what I did without her,” he stated.

The comments come as both actors prepare for big releases later this year, including Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. Their easy chemistry on screen clearly stems from a deep off-screen respect.
Outlets like Rolling Stone, People, and Complex quickly picked up on the interview, with many noting how genuine and supportive Holland sounded. Zendaya, who tends to keep things private, has previously said she feels safe and comfortable working with her.
It’s the kind of low-key, heartfelt praise that feels rare in celebrity interviews these days.
