Pangandaran, en.SERU.co.id – The national sport aviation community gathering, Pangandaran Air Show (PAS) 2026, held at Susi Air Beach Strip in Pangandaran, West Java, concluded successfully. The three-day event from 4 to 6 September 2026 left a lasting impression on participants.
One contingent that drew attention was the Bromo Flying Club (BFC) from Malang. The team fielded its reliable aircraft, a Rotax 912-powered sport plane with registration PK-S360, flown directly by the club’s manager, Capt. Yudha Adhytama. Pangandaran Air Show 2026 served as a real platform to strengthen friendships while testing the skills of Indonesian aviation enthusiasts.
BFC member Ignatius Andreas shared his enthusiasm for the lively atmosphere along the southern coast of West Java. As an aviation lover, he felt the 2026 Pangandaran Air Show successfully captivated both participants and spectators with its aerial aerobatic displays.
“Taking part in Pangandaran Airshow 2026 was really exciting! For me, the Pangandaran Airshow is not just about competition. It is also a moment to meet, chat and build connections with fellow aviation enthusiasts from different regions,” he said.
More than just a casual meetup to make new friends, Andreas noted that the event allowed participants to exchange experiences, expand networks and strengthen the solidarity of the sport aviation community. He hopes the Pangandaran Air Show and similar events will be held more often across the country.
“I hope the Pangandaran Airshow continues, grows even livelier, and attracts more aviation enthusiasts to take part,” he added.

Meanwhile, Bromo Flying Club manager Capt. Yudha Adhytama explained that during PAS 2026 the club competed in several flying skill tests. The PK-S360 “Cheesecake” aircraft entered two prestigious competition categories: short-field takeoff and precision landing.
“It was a pleasant experience for Bromo Flying Club to take part in the Pangandaran Air Show 2026,” he said.
The event, attended by 10 members of the Bromo Flying Club, also served as a program to introduce the potential of sport aviation in East Java, particularly Malang. The club’s participation on the national stage received full support from the East Java branch of the Indonesian Aero Sport Federation (Fasida) under the leadership of Abdulrachman Saleh Air Base Commander Air First Marshal Reza R.R. Sastranegara.
“We hope similar events can continue to be held regularly to boost the enthusiasm for sport aviation in Indonesia,” he concluded. (dik/mzm)
