Seoul, en.SERU.co.id — South Korean media outlet JTBC reported on August 14, 2026, that TWICE member Chaeyoung and singer-producer Zion.T had ended their relationship. Representatives for both artists later denied the report, saying the pair are still together.
The JTBC report, citing industry sources, said the couple had returned to a senior-junior dynamic in the entertainment industry after approximately two years and four months of dating. Busy schedules were reportedly cited as the reason their relationship had gradually grown distant.
Initial responses from both sides said they were unable to confirm the report because it concerned the artists’ private lives.
Official Joint Statement Issued
Later the same day, representatives for Chaeyoung and Zion.T released a joint statement denying the breakup report.
The agencies said the claims were “clearly false” and “completely groundless.” After confirming directly with the artists, they stated that the two “are still sharing good feelings and continuing their beautiful relationship.”
The statement also warned that both sides would take legal action against baseless speculation, false information and malicious posts that could damage the artists’ reputations.
The agencies asked fans to continue supporting Chaeyoung following the establishment of her independent label, LIL FANTASY, as well as Zion.T’s ongoing music activities.

Background of the Relationship
Chaeyoung and Zion.T publicly confirmed their relationship in April 2024. Their then-agencies said the two were dating with mutual affection and supporting each other.
Chaeyoung debuted with TWICE in 2015 and recently left JYP Entertainment to establish her own one-person agency while continuing her activities with the group. Zion.T remains active as a singer and producer.
As of the latest statements from their representatives, Chaeyoung and Zion.T remain in a relationship despite the earlier JTBC report.
