Malang, en.SERU.co.id – The Malang Police Resort (Polres Malang) has provided micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) business carts for Aremania field coordinators (Korlap) to encourage economic independence. A total of 30 cart units has been prepared to support the business activities of Aremania coordinators in Malang Regency.
In the first phase, Malang Police Chief AKBP Rulian Syauri handed over 10 MSMEs cart units to 10 Aremania regional coordinators (korwil) on Wednesday afternoon, October 14, 2026. The assistance is not only in the form of carts for selling but is also equipped with equipment and merchandise. This ranges from LPG gas cylinders to ready-to-serve food and beverages.
“After the first phase, we will distribute the next 20 cart units to Aremania field coordinators in various areas of Malang Regency,” said Rulian, as he is popularly known.
According to Rulian, the assistance is expected to become a means for the supporter group to develop productive businesses, while at the same time improving the welfare of its members. Rulian emphasized that this program is a form of concern from Polres Malang toward the community, including the football supporter community.
Rulian hopes that the existence of the MSME can encourage economic independence. At the same time, it strengthens the role of Aremania in maintaining public security and order (kamtibmas).
“This is also a form of our concern for the welfare of the community. Polres Malang is always together with the community to maintain order together in accordance with the instructions from the National Police Chief,” he said.
Aremania Supporter Coordinator for the Gondanglegi Regional Area, Syaiful Rizal alias Porong, welcomed the assistance. He said the cart received becomes initial capital to start a joint business in his area.

According to Syaiful, the assistance received includes one business container unit, food and beverages, as well as materials for selling coffee, noodles, and a number of other products. The hope is that the business can run sustainably and provide economic benefits for members of the Aremania regional coordinator group.
“The plan is that we will create a coffee stall business in Gondanglegi. The location is right next to the Gondanglegi Community Health Center,” explained Syaiful.
Meanwhile, Chair of the Aremania Presidium, Ali Rifki, explained that the first-phase recipients are 10 field coordinators. Their locations are relatively close to the Malang Police Resort office on Jalan Raya Ahmad Yani Number 1, Kepanjen. In the next phase, the assistance will be expanded to other areas, including regional coordinators in Lawang, Singosari, and Kasembon Sub-districts.
“According to us, this is the only one that has been done by the police for the MSME of a football supporter group. The idea given by the Malang Police Chief is truly extraordinary,” said Rifki.
He added that the success of the initial phase will become material for evaluation to continue the assistance program to other Aremania regional coordinators in Malang Regency. In addition to encouraging economic activities, the program is expected to strengthen the involvement of supporters in maintaining the conduciveness of their respective areas.
Rifki said the Malang Police Chief requested that Aremania also take part in maintaining security and order in their respective environments. Thus, the MSME carts do not only become a means of earning income but can function as a gathering point or home base for supporter members.
“In return, the Malang Police Chief only asks that the Malang Regency area be guarded together. The public order and security be maintained, the security of each area be maintained. So that the MSME carts can be used as a home base while guarding their respective areas,” he concluded. (ws16/rhd)
