“This step is an effective solution in overcoming potential losses for farmers during peak harvest. Besides being sold fresh to traditional and modern markets, these fruits are processed so that they have added value and no harvest results are wasted,” said Cak Nur on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

The business pioneered by Nizar Hilmi since 2022 was initially born from an urgent situation when the supply of lemon fruit was abundant. That condition actually caused its price to plummet in the market.

“At that time lemons were very abundant and difficult to sell, so we processed them ourselves and tried selling online,” recalled Nizar.

Thanks to perseverance and a focus on digital marketing, the Petani Lemon Jaya product line is now developing rapidly. Not only lemons, they also process other local commodities such as apples, pineapples, dates, and strawberries. All raw materials are absorbed directly from farmers around Batu City to maintain supply sustainability as well as support the local economy.
