Seoul, en.SERU.co.id — SM Entertainment officially announced its Music Line-up for the second half of 2026, alongside the release of its second-quarter financial results. The roadmap includes comebacks from major groups and soloists, including Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, Taeyeon and the debut of a new Girls’ Generation unit.
According to The Korea Herald, SM Entertainment “unveiled its second-half artist lineup Wednesday, confirming new releases by Minho of Shinee and boy group WayV, along with a single from a new Girls’ Generation unit.”
Q3 2026: Red Velvet and NCT 127 Lead
In the third quarter, Red Velvet released its mini-album Velvet Summer on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026. The album marks the group’s first full-group comeback in more than two years, following Cosmic in June 2024.
NCT 127 is scheduled to release its full album Blingy, while WayV will issue a new mini-album and SHINee’s Minho will return with a solo EP. A new Girls’ Generation unit consisting of Hyoyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung (known as HyoRiSoo or Girls’ Generation-HRS) will also release a digital single.
IDN Times also compiled several confirmed Q3 release dates, including:
- July 10: Jaehyun (single)
- July 13: SUPER JUNIOR-83z (mini-album)
- Aug. 3: Red Velvet (mini-album)
- Aug. 10: WayV (mini-album)
Japanese releases from NCT Wish, RIIZE, Hearts2Hearts and others are also planned. The full album from NCT 127, along with mini-albums from Minho, Chanyeol, and Irene & Seulgi, still await confirmed dates.
Q4 2026: Full Albums from Taeyeon, NCT Dream and Others
Entering the fourth quarter, SM Entertainment plans to release full-length albums from Super Junior’s Yesung, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, NCT’s Jaehyun and NCT Dream. In addition, EPs are scheduled for TVXQ’s Max Changmin, WayV’s Xiaojun and NCT Wish, while rookie girl group Hearts2Hearts will release a new single.
In its official second-quarter earnings conference script, SM Entertainment stated:
“We plan to release full-albums from YESUNG, TAEYEON, JAEHYUN, and NCT DREAM, while MAX CHANGMIN will return with a mini-album. In addition, a new EXO unit is scheduled to make its new mini-album, while XIAOJUN, NCT WISH, Hearts2Hearts, and RIIZE are also preparing new album releases.”
KbizoOm noted that the lineup reflects one of SM Entertainment’s busiest release schedules in recent years, with renewed emphasis on full-length albums from its major artists.

Tours and Fanmeets
Beyond music releases, SM also announced an active touring schedule. Aespa will launch its world tour with concerts at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul before continuing to North America and Europe. Additional tours are planned for U-Know (TVXQ), Super Junior-83z, Yesung, Ryeowook, NCT 127 and WayV, while NCT Wish will hold a fan meeting tour.
Financial Context
The lineup announcement coincided with SM’s positive financial performance. The company recorded consolidated revenue of 349.6 billion won (up 15.4 percent year-on-year) and operating profit of 52.9 billion won (up 11 percent) for the April–June 2026 period. Growth was driven by global concert tours, merchandise sales and licensing.
SM Entertainment emphasized that the entire schedule remains tentative and subject to change based on production conditions and promotional strategies. More detailed information on exact release dates, particularly for Q4, is expected to be announced gradually.
