Las Vegas, en.SERU.co.id — K-pop group BTS managed to sweep the three categories they were nominated for at the 52nd American Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Monday (25/5/ 2026).
The group won Artist of the Year, Song of the Summer for their track “SWIM,” and Best Male K-Pop Artist at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. It marked their first award show appearance as a full group since completing military service.
According to the official AMA results, BTS beat out major names like Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, and Justin Bieber for Artist of the Year. “SWIM,” the lead single from their March 2026 album Arirang, stood out as the clear favorite for summer song of the year.
This was BTS’s second Artist of the Year win, following their 2021 victory. During the show, they shared a special recorded performance of “Hooligan” from their ongoing Arirang World Tour, complete with striking red lighting and sharp choreography.

In their acceptance speech for Artist of the Year, the members kept the focus on their fans. One line that quickly spread online was:
“Because of the fans, BTS is taking home the biggest award of the night!”
After the ceremony, BTS went live on Weverse to celebrate with ARMY. They popped champagne, cut a cake that read “Keep Swimming,” and shared some emotional moments together.
With these three new trophies, BTS continues to build on their strong track record at the AMAs. The wins also highlight the consistent power of their fanbase in fan-voted award shows.
