Malang, en.SERU.co.id – H. Rokhmad SSos, a member of Commission A of the Malang City DPRD, extended his appreciation and encouragement to 82 sixth-grade students, 350 parents, and guests during the Haflah Akhirussanah graduation ceremony for SD Plus Qurrota A’yun, held at Hotel Aria Gajayana in Malang.
As head of the Qurrota A’yun Foundation, Rokhmad expressed gratitude for the school’s achievements this year, highlighting a perfect 100% graduation rate for all sixth-graders.
“Every student reached 1,000 points. Parents should be proud because their children are graduating with noble character, having memorized Juz 30 of the Quran, capable of public speaking, full of dreams, and proficient in reciting the Quran,” said Ustadz Rokhmad warmly in his speech on Sunday (21/6/2026)
He emphasized that educational success depends not only on the school but also on active involvement from families. Rokhmad urged teachers and parents to continue guiding children with sincerity, intelligence, patience, and dedication, helping them grow into intelligent, skilled, and morally upright future leaders.
“Success comes from strong collaboration and synergy between the foundation, school committee, parents’ association, teachers, and families. This teamwork has ensured all our educational programs run smoothly,” added the Chairman of the Malang City PKS Expert Council.
The event opened with a series of creative student performances, including an inspirational story by a Qurrota A’yun student, a wushu demonstration, a musical drama from first-graders, and various other shows. The presentations received enthusiastic applause from attendees, including Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat, the Secretary of the Education Office, Klojen Subdistrict Head, foundation officials, and teachers.
Mayor Wahyu Hidayat congratulated all the graduates on completing their primary education at the school.

“Today is the result of a long journey filled with enthusiasm for learning, teachers’ patience, parents’ prayers, and sacrifices. I extend my congratulations to every student on this achievement,” he said.
Wahyu reaffirmed the Malang City Government’s commitment to improving education quality as a long-term investment in developing the city’s golden generation.
“As a City of Education, Malang will continue to support this,” he added.
Ningrum Wulandari, Principal of SD Plus Qurrota A’yun, described the Haflah Akhirussanah as a solemn yet joyful occasion. Tears of emotion from parents mingled with the proud smiles of teachers as the 82 graduates prepared to move on to the next stage of their education.
“This moment is more than just a farewell ceremony. It marks a new chapter for our students, equipped with knowledge, strong morals, and solid Quranic memorization they have gained during their time here,” she said. (rhd)
