New York, en.SERU.co.id — Speculation is growing that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will marry at Madison Square Garden (MSG) in the first weekend of July 2026. This is due to leaked official permits and extensive venue preparations, although the couple has not yet officially confirmed it.
The New York Times reported this week that Swift has rented out the iconic arena for the holiday period.
“On July 2, the plans call for an intimate gathering of about 100 people at the Garden. The next day on July 3, about 1.000 guests would gather there for a splashier celebration, with possible stage appearances,” wrote The New York Times, citing an entertainment industry executive and other sources familiar with the plans.
Adding to the buzz, the city has received a permit application to close streets around MSG from July 2 to July 4. The request, filed by event planning company Winick Productions, also includes setting up a large tent or canopy outside the venue for 500 to 999 people.
A spokesperson for the Mayor’s Office confirmed the filing to multiple outlets, including CBS News and NBC News. Law enforcement sources told CNN that NYPD and Amtrak have been briefed on the large-scale event.

Other Signs Pointing to the Plans
Sources say a massive custom stage is being built in Rock Lititz, Pennsylvania, under tight security. Chiefs players have reportedly booked rooms at the nearby Marriott Marquis hotel in Times Square. Guests are said to have been asked not to bring wedding gifts.
Still, not everyone is convinced this will actually be the wedding itself. Some insiders suggest it could be a high-profile reception or decoy event, given how private the couple has stayed throughout their relationship. Neither Swift nor Kelce has commented publicly, and representatives for both have stayed silent.
If it happens as rumored, it would be one of the biggest celebrity events of the year — blending Swift’s star power with Kelce’s NFL fame in one of New York’s most famous venues. Fans are watching closely as the Fourth of July weekend approaches.
