According to the statement, Rangadhol was getting dressed in the bathroom of the condominium where she was staying in Manila when she tripped and fell. She struck her face and head on the floor, suffering a severe traumatic brain injury and internal bleeding in the brain.

“Emergency assistance was immediately requested, and an ambulance was called. However, after approximately 15 minutes of waiting, the ambulance had not yet arrived. As her condition required immediate medical attention, her companions made every effort to bring her to the nearest hospital using a wheelchair,” the family said.

Despite their efforts to get her medical attention, Rangadhol died from her injuries.

The family said the statement was released to provide a clear account of what happened and address questions surrounding her sudden death. They also asked the public to refrain from speculation and respect the privacy of her immediate family, particularly her mother, Anabella.

Career and Viral Hit

Rangadhol was born on December 6, 1995. She first gained public attention as a finalist on QTV’s “Pop Star Kids” in 2005.

She later joined Sugarpop alongside Julie Anne San Jose, Rita Daniela, Enzo Almario, and Pocholo Bismonte. The group regularly performed on GMA Network’s “SOP” and released an album under Sony BMG.

Rangadhol later pursued a solo career and became widely known for her collaboration with rapper Aikee on “DOTA O Ako,” a song that resonated strongly with Filipino DOTA players during the 2010s.

The pair reunited a decade later for “DOTA At Ako,” a sequel released by Netflix Philippines in 2021. Rangadhol also briefly served as the lead vocalist of MYMP.
