Malang, en.SERU.co.id — The Malang City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) has collected Rp40.2 billion in local vehicle tax surcharge (Opsen PKB) revenue so far this year. The realization reaches approximately 30.36 percent of the annual target of Rp132.4 billion.
To accelerate collections, the agency will expand its “jemput bola” or mobile outreach program by offering vehicle tax payment services directly at urban villages (kelurahans) across the city.
Dr. Handi Priyanto, AP, MSi, Head of the Malang City Regional Revenue Agency, said his office is collaborating with the East Java Provincial Revenue Agency and the Malang City One-Stop Vehicle Administration Service (Samsat) to deliver convenient integrated services.
“We are making it easier for residents to pay their Opsen PKB by providing on-site services during mobile programs in kelurahans,” Handi said on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
The mobile service format is not new for Bapenda, having been used in various public service events. Handi hopes the proximity and convenience will raise public awareness and encourage timely tax compliance.

A similar service was recently held during the “Gebyar Pelayanan Publik and UMKM” event commemorating Malang City’s 111th anniversary on April 24, 2026. The program will continue as part of the upcoming “Sambang Kelurahan” activities.
Bapenda has lined up integrated service schedules from May to July 2026. Each session will run from 09:00 to 15:00 WIB and serve two kelurahans per day.
The series starts today, May 12, at Kelurahan Lesanpuro and Madyopuro, followed by Wonokoyo, Buring, Sawojajar, Cemorokandang, Bunulrejo, Jodipan, and other areas.
Handi expects the combination of doorstep services and strong inter-agency synergy to boost regional tax revenue — particularly Opsen PKB and BBNKB — thereby increasing the city’s Locally Generated Revenue (PAD) to support development programs.
“We hope that by bringing services closer to the community, tax collections will continue to rise,” he concluded. (bas/mzm)
