Jakarta, en.SERU.co.id – The National Internship Program through MagangHub Batch 2 Angkatan II 2026 officially opened for registration from 3 to 8 September 2026 with a total quota of 50,000 participants. Participant selection is scheduled for 9–15 September, results will be announced on 18 September 2026, and successful candidates will begin their internships on 21 September 2026.
Minister of Manpower Yassierli said the program is designed to expand opportunities for job seekers. It aims to give them work experience that matches the needs of the business world, industry and government institutions.
“We prepared this program so it can be widely accessed by job seekers. At the same time, it provides relevant work experience that matches the needs of the business world, industry and government institutions,” Yassierli said, quoted from CNBC Indonesia on Friday, September 4, 2026.
According to him, the success of MagangHub is not measured only by the number of participants placed. The quality of implementation and the relevance of the experience for participants are also key priorities for the government.
“We want the entire process to run openly and accountably. Every stage must be carried out with careful administration. Especially so that the program runs well and delivers real benefits for the participants,” he said.
Stipends Transferred Directly by Kemnaker
Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower Cris Kuntadi confirmed that participants’ stipends are transferred directly by the ministry. Under this mechanism, partner companies and other parties do not act as intermediaries in distributing the stipends.
“Kemnaker transfers the money directly to the interns,” Cris stressed.
The statement was made in response to circulating allegations of corruption in the MagangHub program. Several posts even claimed that participants did not receive stipends according to the set standard.
