Jakarta, en.SERU.co.id – A number of non-subsidy fuel prices rose at the beginning of September 2026 at both Pertamina and private filling stations. Pertamina increased the prices of Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex and Dexlite from 1 September, followed by Pertamax Green 95 on 2 September. Several BP-AKR and Shell fuels also rose, while some products remain unavailable.
VP Corporate Communication of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, said the price changes were carried out based on the formula set by the government. The calculation considers world crude oil prices, the rupiah exchange rate, taxes and a number of other factors.
“This is done by taking into account economic viability, purchasing power and the social conditions of the public,” Kitty said on Wednesday, 2 September 2026.
Pertamina Patra Niaga was the first to make adjustments. Since 1 September 2026, the prices of Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex and Dexlite have increased.
The price of Pertamax Turbo now reaches Rp19,600 per liter, up from Rp18,300 per liter. Pertamina Dex has become Rp25,200 per liter from the previous Rp21,150. Meanwhile Dexlite has risen to Rp23,700 per liter from the previous Rp19,700.
The increases continued the following day. Starting 2 September 2026, the price of Pertamax Green 95 was set at Rp19,150 per liter. It rose quite significantly from the previous price of Rp16,600 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of Pertamax was also recorded at Rp16,250 per liter as of 2 September 2026.
Private Stations Also Raise Prices
Price changes also occurred at a number of private filling stations. BP-AKR raised the price of BP Ultimate to Rp19,330 per liter starting 2 September 2026. Previously, the RON 95 fuel was sold at Rp16,760 per liter.
An increase also occurred in BP Ultimate Diesel, which from 1 September 2026 rose to Rp25,420 per liter from the previous Rp21,910 per liter. Meanwhile the price of BP 92 remains at the level of Rp16,130 per liter.
At the same time, the price of Vivo’s Revvo 92 fuel is also still at Rp16,130 per liter. However, not all products are available. The prices of Diesel Primus and Revvo 95 are not listed because their stocks are still empty.
A similar condition occurred at Shell stations. Currently, Shell V-Power Diesel is one of the products that has experienced an increase, from Rp21,910 to Rp25,420 per liter. Meanwhile Shell Super, Shell V-Power and Shell V-Power Nitro+ are not yet available.
