Seoul, en.SERU.co.id – Plastic surgery rumors involving Winter (Kim Min-jeong) from aespa once again became a hot topic among Korean and international netizens from April to June 2026.
The latest wave kicked off in late June 2026 when Dispatch posted unedited airport photos of aespa heading to Japan. Some shots of Winter drew harsh comments about her appearance, leading to the images being quickly taken down from Instagram. That only fueled more speculation.
Netizens wasted no time comparing her recent looks to older photos. Many pointed to noticeable changes in her nose, jawline, and overall face shape. In entertainment communities, the talk quickly turned to claims of revision rhinoplasty and other procedures.

A popular Nate Pann discussion reported by Koreaboo on June 7, 2026 added more fuel. One user openly questioned why Winter’s nose appeared different from typical nose job results, writing:
“People are saying she removed the implant and lowered her nose again… but it doesn’t look bigger or longer. I’m genuinely curious how that works.”
Photos from a recent W Korea shoot also went viral, with some fans and critics saying she looked almost “unrecognizable” compared to her early days.
Plastic surgery rumors have followed Winter since aespa’s debut. Pre-debut photos show a rounder face and less defined nose, while her current visuals appear sharper and more refined. Many in the K-pop world note that her nose is often used as a reference at Korean plastic surgery clinics.

That said, plenty of fans push back hard. They argue the differences come down to heavy stage makeup, professional lighting, camera angles, weight changes, and simple aging. At 25, Winter is naturally growing into her features, they say.
As of now, neither Winter nor SM Entertainment has issued an official statement addressing the latest plastic surgery allegations.
