New York, en.SERU.co.id — Rockstar Games has finally given fans a concrete date to mark on their calendars: pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI open on June 25, 2026. The news dropped alongside the official cover art reveal, building even more hype for the November 19 launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

But one big detail is missing: the actual price. The company has stayed quiet on how much the game will cost, leaving it to speculation until pre-orders go live next week. That hasn’t stopped retailers and analysts from weighing in.

Take-Two Interactive boss Strauss Zelnick has touched on pricing in recent comments, stressing that the company wants players to feel they’re getting massive value without overpaying.

“Consumers pay for the value that you bring to them, and our job is to charge way way way less of the value delivery… Consumers need to feel like the thing itself is amazing and the price they were charged was fair for what they got.”

— Strauss Zelnick, CEO Take-Two Interactive (reported by IGN and Gamespot, April 2026).

He’s also referenced the current $70–$80 range for big AAA titles as a reasonable benchmark, pushing back against chatter about a possible $100 launch price.

In the meantime, some European stores have posted early listings that got people talking. Portugal’s FNAC, for example, showed placeholder prices ranging from around €89.99 for the standard edition up to €199.99 for what looks like a collector’s bundle.

Insiders like billbil-kun have cautioned that these are likely just temporary SKUs and not final. US prices are usually lower than in Europe thanks to taxes and regional differences, so a $70–$80 base game remains very much on the table.

What Fans Can Expect

Pre-orders will roll out on PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and select physical retailers. Rockstar hasn’t detailed bonus content or special editions yet, but those details should surface soon, possibly with another trailer tease.

For now, the focus is on the wait. GTA 6 is shaping up to be one of the biggest entertainment releases in years, and most signs point to Rockstar keeping the entry price competitive while offering premium options for die-hard fans.
