Cimahi, Indonesia, en.SERU.co.id — Cuk Nugroho, best known for his role as the cheeky pickpocket boss Kang Saep in the hit series Preman Pensiun, died on Saturday (20/6/2026), at the age of 50.
The actor breathed his last at around 8:51 a.m. WIB at RSUD Cibabat in Cimahi after several days of declining health. He had been receiving treatment in the ICU and was reported to be in a coma as recently as Friday night.
News of his passing first spread through social media posts from fellow cast members of Preman Pensiun. His personal assistant, Susan, later confirmed the sad news.
Cuk Nugroho’s body is currently being held at a family home in Kompleks Graha Bukit Raya, Desa Cilame, Bandung Barat Regency. As of now, the family has not announced a date and time for the funeral.
Well known as Icuk Baros, was born on April 28, 1976, in Cimahi, West Java, Cuk began his acting journey from the bottom. Before finding fame, he took on small roles and extra work in Jakarta, patiently honing his craft through countless auditions.
