Seoul, en.SERU.co.id – EXO’s Sehun has finally taken the solo step fans have been waiting for. On July 29, the idol released his first Chinese-language single, “Fade” (失重色), featuring Sion of NCT WISH.
The track dropped at noon KST across major platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Melon, QQ Music, and more. The R&B-pop track explores themes of fading memories, emotional distance, and letting go through imagery of a world gradually losing its color and gravity.
Sehun combines his signature singing-rap style with Sion’s softer vocal tone, marking the first collaboration between the two SM Entertainment artists.
According to SPOTV News, Warner Music China reached out to Sehun directly for the project. The label has been working with various artists to create original content, and Sehun’s inclusion underscores just how strong his presence remains in the Chinese-speaking market.
The release comes shortly after EXO concluded its sixth world tour, EXO PLANET #6 – EXORISE, which sold out all 27 shows across 14 cities. Coming off that high, “Fade” arrives as a more personal, reflective statement.
