Malang, en.SERU.co.id — Sport aviation in the Malang Raya area just took another step forward. Bromo Flying Club (BFC) has officially graduated its second Sport Pilot, a flyer named Ali, who is now positioned to grow into a competitive aero-sport athlete.
BFC Manager Yudha Adhitama told SERU.co.id that Ali completed his Solo Flight cleanly and successfully at Abdulrachman Saleh Airport on Sunday, 26 July 2026. The achievement followed intensive training that covered aerodynamics theory, air navigation, and hands-on flight practice, all under close supervision by experienced instructors.
“This success is welcome news for the continued development of aerospace sports,” Yudha said.
He explained that the club’s program aims to produce more than just recreational pilots. It also builds the discipline, precision, and professional habits expected of competitive athletes. Because the training takes place over the challenging mountainous terrain around Malang Raya, graduates leave with a strong grasp of precise flying techniques.
Yudha described the new pilot as a valuable addition to the East Java regional Aero Sport Federation (FASIDA Jatim).

“These graduates are not just hobbyists. They have real potential to become professional aero-sport athletes ready for regional and national competitions,” he said.
