Jakarta, en.SERU.co.id — Bank Jatim has been recognized for its digital progress, winning the Digital Innovation in Business Transformation award at the Digital Innovation Award 2026, organized by iNews Media.

The award was presented by Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra to Wiweko Probojakti, Bank Jatim’s Director of Information Technology, Digital, and Operations, at the iNews Tower in Jakarta on Friday evening, May 22, 2026.

Wiweko, popularly known as Dodit, said the accolade reflects the bank’s strong commitment to sustainable digital transformation and its position as one of Indonesia’s leading regional development banks in financial innovation.

“This award is a huge motivation for us. It validates the hard work of all Jatimers in creating adaptive digital services that respond to both technological advances and our customers’ evolving needs through JConnect,” Dodit said.

He highlighted the bank’s rapid development of its digital ecosystem, particularly through the JConnect Mobile app. The platform has successfully integrated various financial transactions into a single, modern banking channel.

Strong Growth in 2025

The numbers tell a compelling story. By the end of 2025, JConnect Mobile had reached 993,972 users, a 22.40% increase year-on-year. Transaction value hit Rp 65.77 trillion, up 29.55% from the previous year.

Meanwhile, JConnect IB Corporate recorded 11,199 users (up 14.79%) with transactions totaling Rp 23.36 trillion. The bank’s QRIS service also grew significantly, serving 203,725 users with Rp 3.94 trillion in transactions — a 47.25% jump year-on-year.

In early May 2026, Bank Jatim launched the latest version of JConnect, featuring 36 enhanced services developed based on direct customer feedback. Notable improvements include the ability to change passwords without visiting a branch and more convenient, secure biometric login. Electronic money card top-ups are now also integrated directly into the app.

“JConnect is no longer just a mobile banking app for transfers and payments. It has evolved into a comprehensive financial platform that supports customers’ daily needs — from transactions and bill payments to better money management — all in one place,” Dodit explained.

The bank is also using JConnect to expand its reach into the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) segment as well as corporate clients, offering easier access to capital and financial management tools.

“Digitalization remains our core focus in broadening banking access. We believe it is the key to delivering more inclusive and convenient financial services. Moving forward, Bank Jatim will continue to strengthen cross-sector collaborations to support the digital economy ecosystem in East Java and across the nation,” Dodit added.
