Pertamina Launches Free Eid Homecoming Program 2026: Register Now for Safe, Comfortable Lebaran Travel

Jakarta, en.SERU.co.id – State-owned energy giant Pertamina has once again rolled out its popular “Mudik Bareng Pertamina” program for 2026, offering free bus transportation to help Indonesians return to their hometowns safely and comfortably ahead of Idulfitri 1447 H.

Vice President of Corporate Communication at Pertamina, Muhammad Baron, described the program as a manifestation of the company’s commitment to delivering “energy for goodness” to society.

“Through this program, Pertamina aims to ensure that the homecoming journey is safe, comfortable, and entirely free of charge,” Baron said in a statement.

Buses will depart from Plaza Keong Mas at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in Jakarta on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Participants must arrive early for on-site re-registration between 03:00–07:30 WIB; those who fail to appear will forfeit their spot, with seats reassigned to waitlisted applicants.

The program serves more than 15 destinations across Java Island, providing broad coverage for travelers from the capital:

  • Tasikmalaya
  • Garut
  • Cirebon
  • Purwokerto – Banyumas
  • Kebumen
  • Wonosobo – Purworejo
  • Brebes – Tegal
  • Pemalang
  • Cilacap
  • Pekalongan – Kendal – Semarang
  • Yogyakarta
  • Surakarta – Wonogiri
  • Surabaya
  • Malang
  • Ngawi
  • Madiun
  • Banyuwangi

In addition to outbound travel, Pertamina facilitates free return (arus balik) trips for participants. Return departures are scheduled from Cirebon, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya on Saturday, March 28, 2026, with all buses arriving at Pool Damri Cawang in Jakarta.

Eligibility and Registration Rules

To participate, applicants must:

  • Follow Pertamina’s official Instagram account (@pertamina)
  • Register only once (multiple entries lead to disqualification)
  • Not be enrolled in any other state-owned enterprise (BUMN) mudik program
  • Use a valid Indonesian ID (KTP/NIK); children over 3 years old require registration (using NIK or KIA)
  • Limit group registrations to a maximum of 5 people
  • Provide complete and accurate personal data

Participant data will be verified through the NIK validation system. Invalid data may result in cancellation of participation. In addition, participants are required to complete on-site re-registration on the day of departure, Sunday, March 15, 2026, between 03:00–07:30 WIB at Plaza Keong Mas, TMII.

Participants who fail to attend the re-registration will be considered to have withdrawn, and their slots will be reassigned to waitlisted applicants.

Pertamina emphasizes that the program is 100% free—no fees are charged at any stage. The company urges the public to beware of scams impersonating the initiative.
