BIMIS Launches Free Nusuk-Style App for Prospective Hajj Pilgrims

Malang, en.SERU.co.id – Yayasan Bina Insan Mandiri Indonesia Sukses (BIMIS) has officially launched lbihmandiri.id, a free application developed by LBIH Mandiri that functions like a digital ID card. The app serves as learning material for prospective Hajj pilgrims (calhaj) scheduled to depart in 2027 and 2028, helping them prepare before travelling to the holy land.

Chairman of Yayasan BIMIS, Syaifuddin Aryus, said the application is designed specifically as a study tool for LBIH Mandiri calhaj. The barcode-scanner app works in a similar way to an ID card system that pilgrims use when entering the Raudhah area of the Grand Mosque and during checks by security officers.

“This application was developed by alumni who have already performed the Hajj. The hope is that future pilgrims will become familiar with technology so that all Hajj activities become easier and lead to a mabrur pilgrimage,” said Odang, as he is commonly known, at Masjid Muhajirin on Jalan Sigura-gura in Malang on Saturday, 15 August 2026.

In line with LBIH Mandiri’s commitment to providing the best free service to the guests of Allah, the ID card-style app was conceived and tested over a total of two weeks before being offered free of charge to calhaj for the 2027-2028 seasons.

“The lbihmandiri.id application is still in the process of development and improvement, so we are very open to constructive feedback for the benefit of the community,” he added.

During the launch, BIMIS also partnered with several organizations that will provide various benefits to LBIH Mandiri calhaj and Hajj alumni. These include discounts on medical and traditional therapy health checks, discounts on Hajj souvenir shopping and other services. The partners that signed cooperation agreements or MoUs include:

  • Kartika Optik
  • Mumtaz Mart
  • Laboratorium Ciliwung
  • Panti Sehat Ribbiy
  • Rumah Ameera
  • Ambulans ASA
  • Lembaga Psikologi PSY UP
  • Hzbul Wathon Copy Center
  • Griya Terapi Zawaya
  • Homklin Solusi
  • Yayasan Mizani Indonesia Sejahtera
  • BCA Syariah
  • YASA

“Simply show the ID card held by the calhaj and the partner will scan the barcode to verify membership validity. The benefits provided by partners vary depending on the promotions on offer,” he concluded.

Secretary of Yayasan BIMIS, Jufri Naz, explained that lbihmandiri.id was created to resemble an ID card system used in the holy land. Through the app, calhaj are trained to become accustomed to using a digital ID card to obtain entry tickets for Raudhah quickly and accurately according to available schedules. They also practice showing the barcode both physically offline and digitally online via their devices.

“Through the application, calhaj can select the agendas they wish to join, just like choosing an entry slot for Raudhah. Examples include the Saturday study sessions at Masjid Muhajirin, consolidation sessions at Mall Dinoyo City every Sunday, and prayer training and manasik practice. The barcode scanner is used here for attendance before calhaj enter the various LBIH Mandiri programmes,” Jufri said.

He noted that at present the lbihmandiri.id application is limited to barcode scanning and ticket collection because its content is still new and limited. In the future the app will be developed to resemble government platforms such as SatuHaji and others.

“Later there will be social media content, news related to the Hajj, Hajj agendas and more. Of course it will not only be online. Several offline activities are also organized by the divisions under Yayasan BIMIS,” he stated. (rhd)
