Jakarta, en.SERU.co.id – The local government is presenting the 2026 Eid Homecoming Free Travel Program as a safe and comfortable travel solution for the public. The Provincial Governments (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta and West Java are opening up thousands of quotas with dozens of destination routes, both within and outside the province, subject to several requirements. This program is expected to reduce the risk of accidents while also easing the congestion of the homecoming flow.
DKI Jakarta Free Homecoming 2026 with 20 Destination Cities
Registration for the 2026 Eid free homecoming program from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government opens on Sunday (22/2/2026). This program provides 20 destination cities/regencies for the homecoming, with registration divided into three time clusters.
- Cluster 1 (22–24 February 2026):
Solo, Tasikmalaya, Palembang, Madiun, Sragen, Cilacap
- Cluster 2 (25–27 February 2026):
Yogyakarta, Kuningan, Lampung, Tegal, Kebumen, Jombang, Pekalongan
- Cluster 3 (28 February – 2 March 2026):
Wonogiri, Kediri, Malang, Wonosobo, Purwokerto, Semarang, Sidoarjo
Requirements for DKI Jakarta Free Homecoming 2026
Registration is done online through the website mudikgratis.jakarta.go.id. Based on information from the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, participants must fulfill the following conditions:
- ID card domiciled in DKI Jakarta (priority)
- Family Card (KK)
- Travelers bringing a motorcycle must attach the vehicle registration certificate (STNK)
- One registrant can include a maximum of three family members within the same Family Card
How to Register for DKI Jakarta Free Homecoming
- Access the site mudikgratis.jakarta.go.id
- Click the Register menu
- Fill in personal data, homecoming destination, and vehicle data (if any)
- After successful registration, carry out direct document verification
Verification Location and Time
Verification is carried out at:
- Tennis Court at the Jatibaru Technical Agency Complex
- Transportation Sub-agency Offices for West, Central, East, and South Jakarta
Verification times adjust according to the registration cluster. Participants who do not attend according to the schedule are considered to have withdrawn, and their quota will be reallocated.
DKI Jakarta Free Homecoming Departure Schedule
- Motorcycle shipment: 16 March 2026 from Pulogadung Terminal
- Passenger departure: 17 March 2026 from Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal
- Meanwhile, the return flow for motorcycles is on 25 March 2026 and for passenger buses on 26 March 2026.
West Java Free Homecoming 2026 Provides 3,040 Tickets
The West Java Provincial Government, through the West Java Transportation Agency, is also holding the 2026 Free Homecoming Program. The program is scheduled to take place from 13–15 March 2026.
The Head of the West Java Transportation Agency, Dhani Gumelar, stated that this program provides 3,040 tickets using 74 buses, in collaboration with Jasa Raharja and several national bus companies (PO).
“Departure points are at Leuwipanjang Terminal (Bandung), Cikarang Terminal, and Bekasi City,” said Dhani, quoted from the Jabarprov website, Sunday (22/2/2026).

- Bandung–Yogyakarta (320 tickets)
- Bandung–Solo (320 tickets)
- Yogyakarta–Bandung (360 tickets)
- Bandung–Ciledug (120 tickets)
- Bekasi–Purbalingga (80 tickets)
- Bekasi–Bandung (120 tickets)
- Bekasi (Cikarang Terminal)–Tasikmalaya (320 tickets)
- Bandung–Sukabumi (400 tickets)
- Bogor (Cileungsi)–Bandung (320 tickets)
- Bogor–Pelabuhan Ratu (200 tickets)
- Bandung–Yogyakarta (48 tickets)
- Bandung–Wonogiri (192 tickets)
- Bandung–Solo (144 tickets)
- Bandung–Semarang (48 tickets)
- Bandung–Sragen (48 tickets)
Registration via Digital Application
To make it easier for the public, registration for West Java’s free homecoming is done through the Sapawarga application. This application is available on the Play Store and App Store.
Registration runs from 11 February to 12 March 2026. Activation and selection of departure date will occur from 1–12 March 2026. Travelers only need to fill in basic data, such as NIK (population identification number), family card number, address, and destination route.
