Despite pressure from JEP, JPE played impressively and provided top-quality entertainment for their fans. The match was the opening game of the second series in the second round of the Proliga 2026 women’s volleyball competition, held at GOR Ken Arok, Malang, on Thursday evening, February 5, 2026.

Head Coach Bulent Karslioglu of Jakarta Pertamina Enduro expressed that his team played freely and enjoyed facing their opponents, thanks to intense training. With a strong commitment to entertaining the home crowd, there was no significant pressure on the players.

“We aimed to deliver entertaining volleyball while securing a 3-0 victory,” Bulent emphasized.

The team doesn’t rely solely on star players to dominate; instead, every player gets the chance to perform at their best. While standout Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi delivered several powerful jump shots and scored points, the two foreign players—Iana Shcherban (11 points) and Wilma Alishanova (2 points)—quickly contributed with fast attacks.

“Anyone can shine and score because this is a team game. The victory target is achieved together,” he stated firmly.

Meanwhile, Assistant Coach M. Alim Suseno of Jakarta Electric PLN Mobile admitted his team underperformed.

“Although we led early in the second set, we still lost. In the third set, we fought hard to stay close and try to win or at least force a longer battle, but unfortunately, we couldn’t catch up,” Alim explained.
