Jakarta, en.SERU.co.id – The distribution of social assistance (bansos) is being expedited after the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos), in collaboration with the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), advanced the update of the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTSEN) ahead of the usual schedule. This move is expected to enable faster and more accurate delivery of the Family Hope Program (PKH) and Basic Food Assistance (BPNT) to beneficiaries.
Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf emphasized that this acceleration is crucial to improving the effectiveness of social aid distribution. Previously, the DTSEN data was updated on the 20th of every quarter. It has now been brought forward to the 10th.
“With data arriving earlier, the distribution of social assistance can also be optimized every month,” said Gus Ipul, as quoted from the Kemensos website on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
Minister Saifullah Yusuf also noted that the disbursement of social assistance in the first quarter of 2026 had exceeded 96%. This achievement reflects a significant improvement in the performance of aid distribution to those in need.
“Social assistance is distributed through two main channels: banks under the Himbara group and PT Pos Indonesia. Entering the second quarter (April–June 2026), we are optimistic that the quality of DTSEN data will become increasingly accurate. We hope that assistance will truly reach those who are rightfully entitled to it,” he added.
The government encourages beneficiaries to use the assistance wisely and to actively participate in social empowerment programs. The goal is to help them become more self-reliant in the future, in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s vision.
