Batu, en.SERU.co.id – The DPC (Branch Executive Council) of ASMIPA (Astana Mitra Pariwisata) Malang Raya organized a social activity distributing takjil (pre-fast snacks) and iftar (breaking-fast) menus to residents passing along Jalan Panglima Sudirman in Batu City on Friday afternoon, March 13, 2026.

The event was held in collaboration with Hotel Mutiara Baru in Batu and the Shopee Food Couriers community of Batu Raya.

Speaking to SERU, ASMIPA Malang Raya DPC Chairman Muhammad Nafi explained that this takjil distribution is an annual tradition for the organization. This year, they deliberately partnered with Hotel Mutiara Baru as a vendor and Shopee Food couriers to enhance the event.

“This year, we prepared approximately 500 packages of takjil and iftar meals,” Nafi said.

Due to the large quantity, the distribution took place on the grounds of Hotel Mutiara Baru. Passersby were directed into the hotel courtyard to avoid causing traffic congestion on the main road.

The primary goal of the activity was to strengthen bonds of brotherhood (silaturahmi) between ASMIPA Malang Raya DPC, its vendors, and the online food delivery couriers.

“Essentially, we aim to build closer ties with Asmita vendors while being supported by Shopee Food couriers,” he added.

Echoing this sentiment, Domy, the event coordinator from the Shopee Food Batu Raya couriers, expressed gratitude for the successful takjil and iftar distribution. He appreciated the collaboration between the online couriers, ASMIPA DPC Malang Raya, and Hotel Mutiara Baru.

“May next year be even better, with more packages to share with the community passing by,” he concluded.

The initiative reflects the spirit of Ramadan 1447 H, emphasizing community sharing, collaboration across sectors, and support for those observing the fast during the holy month. (dik/ono)
