Batu, en.SERU.co.id – The Batu Hotel & Villas is once again bringing back its popular Iftar on The Sky program for Ramadan 1447 Hijriah (corresponding to 2026). This exclusive iftar concept invites guests to break their fast with loved ones while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of Batu City’s twinkling city lights from a high vantage point.

Dae Junghan, the Marketing Person-in-Charge (PIC) at The Batu Hotel & Villas, officially announced the relaunch of the “Iftar on The Sky” initiative. More than just a meal to end the day’s fast, the program delivers a memorable, multi-sensory experience combining exceptional cuisine, captivating ambiance, and warm hospitality.

“We blend culinary delights, atmosphere, and heartfelt service into one special moment,” Dae (as he is fondly called) explained on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

“Guests can savor the gradual transition—from watching the sunset, hearing the Maghrib call to prayer, to breaking their fast amid the sparkling city lights of Batu—all from the elevated setting of Awang-awang Sky Lounge,” he added.

The program emphasizes a hospitality-based experience with personalized touches, creating an intimate yet semi-luxurious setting. This makes it ideal for various occasions, including family gatherings, corporate events, community meetups, or private celebrations.

The menu highlights authentic Nusantara (Indonesian archipelago) flavors, featuring a diverse selection of classic Indonesian dishes such as nasi goreng (fried rice), mie goreng (fried noodles), ayam panggang (grilled chicken), and many more. A special highlight for children includes a multi-layered chocolate fountain with fresh fruits for dipping.

Standout signature items include grilled chicken and a live BBQ station where food is prepared fresh on-site. To add variety and encourage repeat visits, the menu rotates: offerings differ between odd and even dates, including variations at the live bar.

“Menus on odd and even dates are distinct, so guests who come multiple times can enjoy different selections,” Dae noted.

Entertainment is provided daily through live music, with organ solo performances on even dates and acoustic sets on odd dates.

Pricing for the iftar package is set at Rp119,000 nett per person. An attractive Early Bird promotion reduces this to Rp108,000 nett per person for bookings made by February 20, 2026.

The same rates apply to both online reservations and in-house hotel guests, with no distinction. Additional incentives include a Buy 9 Get 1 Free package deal, as well as options for reserving private areas (minimum 70 pax).

The Awang-awang Sky Lounge has a standard capacity of approximately 80–90 people under normal conditions, though it can accommodate up to 100 pax to enhance the festive atmosphere when needed.

Conceptually, this year’s Iftar on The Sky remains largely consistent with previous editions, though it incorporates several menu adjustments and refinements for an even better experience.

By seamlessly integrating delicious Indonesian cuisine, an exclusive high-altitude setting, and stunning 360-degree city and mountain views, the hotel team is confident the program will attract strong attendance during Ramadan.

It positions itself as a favorite iftar destination for locals and visitors seeking a meaningful and visually spectacular way to observe the holy month. (bas/rhd)
