Malang, en.SERU.co.id – Tokio O! (pronounced To/ki/o/o!) Japanese Cafe has arrived in Malang, offering authentic Japanese cuisine in a welcoming space ideal for Generation Z (Gen Z) and families alike. The cafe features a hybrid concept, combining a ramen restaurant with a relaxed cafe environment suitable for working, studying, or simply hanging out.
Arvin Ega, Marketing Communications representative for Tokio O! Malang, stated that since its soft opening in November 2025, the cafe has differentiated itself from other ramen spots.
As part of the My Kopi O group, it claims to be the first hybrid ramen-and-cafe establishment in Malang.
“This time, we’re launching the Fuwa Fuwa Tokio O! campaign, introducing a range of new menu items that highlight soft, fluffy textures while creating a warmer hangout experience for Malang residents,” Arvin enthusiastically explained.
Tokio O! Introduces Three New Menu Items
Tokio O! Japanese Cafe Malang has unveiled three new offerings:
- Shibuya Toast: Toasted bread topped with fresh yogurt ice cream.
- A duo of sweet drinks: Cappuccino Marshmallow and Matcha Marshmallow.
The name “Fuwa Fuwa” comes from Japanese, meaning soft or fluffy.
This concept is perfectly embodied in the Shibuya Toast, where the warmth of toasted bread combines with the smooth, melting yogurt ice cream on top,” explained the Marcom representative from the My Kopi O group in Malang.
The new drinks feature marshmallows that add a chewy yet soft texture atop the cappuccino and matcha bases.
“These items are particularly popular among junior and senior high school students, university students, and young professionals from Gen Z in Malang. Including those in the Tidar area. That’s precisely why Tokio O! chose to open here—its target market is very clear. It’s also common to see parents waiting here while dropping off or picking up their children from school or sports activities,” Arvin emphasized.
More Than Just a Ramen Restaurant
Several ramen outlets under the My Kopi O group are well-known for their signature authentic and delicious Collagen Ramen.
Tokio O! aims to strengthen its position as a true hybrid venue, blending a ramen restaurant with a cafe.
“We want to convey to the people of Malang that Tokio O! is not just a cozy Japanese spot for hearty meals. It’s also an excellent cafe for meetings, working on college assignments, or simply enjoying a fun time with friends,” said Silfi, Assistant Supervisor of Management at Tokio O! Japanese Cafe.
To attract visitors, Tokio O! offers special bundling packages for food and drinks, including:
- Breakfast Bundling at Rp40,000, available from 08:00 to 11:00, featuring options like katsu set, tori set, and don set.
- Breaktime packages priced at Rp35,000–Rp40,000, available from 08:00–11:00 and 15:00–18:00, including Coffee Break A (Rp40,000) and Coffee Break B (Rp35,000).
1,000 Drinks for Just Rp1
As a gesture of appreciation and celebration, Tokio O! invites all Malang residents to experience its newest menu firsthand.
On Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 08:00 to 11:00 WIB, the cafe will distribute 1,000 cups of Cappuccino Marshmallow and Matcha Marshmallow for only Rp1 each.
